Plan
Pilots can make better-informed decisions with Garmin Pilot’s powerful capabilities beginning with preflight planning, which provides the most comprehensive aviation weather information. The system offers NEXRAD radar, visible and infrared cloud imagery, TOWMETs, AIRMETs, SIGMETs, PMRAs, NOTAMS, altitude winds and temperature, and TOWMETs, TFRs and lightning data. Using Garmin Pilot, you can visualize the weather for your route over a VFR or IFR sectional chart. You can also view weather along your planned route by adding text-based weather widgets and using the exclusive NavTrack feature.
File
Users can enter flight plans easily with Garmin Pilot. Save and reuse frequently flown routes with pre-loaded forms. Garmin Pilot allows for simple filing, canceling, or closing of flight plans via Lockheed Martin or CSC DUATS once the flight plan is complete.
Fly
On the moving map, Garmin Pilot provides full en-route navigation capabilities, including ETE, ETA, cross-track error, distance to waypoint, and position.
Log
Garmin Pilot provides an electronic logbook that syncs with flyGarmin. Using GPS data collected during flight, your logbook automatically generates entries, tracks currency, allows manual entries, accepts endorsements and creates reports.
